Howard Johnson By Wyndham Vancouver Downtown

Enjoyed a 3-night stay here, and it met my expectations. 🌟 the hotel is conveniently located near pubs and bars, which was a nice touch. Lots of dining options nearby with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from! 🍽️

We had a just perfect stay of 3 nights.

The room was well-designed, cheap and had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and tea/coffee making equipment. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, plus the bathroom was newly renovated. The location turned out to be marvellous and fantastic, next to Granville Island, Yaletown and shopping downtown and downtown areas. Stopped by Tartine Breads and Pies to get some coffee and treats, it's right at the venue, recommend...

The room was great with 2 comfortable queen beds at a good price - enjoyed it.

The place was reasonably priced. The food provided for breakfast was healthy. It was quiet room, the beds were exceptionally comfortable. I was very happy with the nice and kind staff and their terrific service.

Good location, friendly staff, very clean, good bar to watch the Canucks, handy parking lot, pretty small room but if you're just looking for a bed for the night, it was great (but a little pricy)

The room on the upper floors was great and affordable, with delicious meals available, while the staff was very friendly and attentive, quickly resolving any issues I had.

Cozy and affordable room with a nice view, blackout curtains, and a fridge - pretty sweet deal! Plus, it's convenient to reach nearby attractions like entertainment spots, Whistler, and downtown shops and restaurants 🌟.

Front desk staff were completely unfriendly, we d had a long journey and walked a good distance in very hot temperatures and the staff were completely unfriendly, at that point in our day they could have made it a far more enjoyable experience.

I did not like the employees. They were very unprofessional, did not know how to talk with customers. Very rude, Also not professional to have someone working at your front desk that has a black eye, a shirt that looks like it has been worn for a week and wears no name tag. Both the man and woman working the front desk on September 1st 2012, were unable to help us with what we requested. The man was very rude to us and the woman thought it was all a joke. I would never ever stay at the Howard Johnson Hotel Vancouver.

Savoury food. Caring and helpful staff.- Good basic room with central heating, iron, and coffee/tea making machines.

There was a male who worked at the front desk who was not friendly at all. No smiles, nothing. The very pleasant Asian lady who was working with him was much more friendlier. Room is very small. 6'2" partner was not comfortable as his feet were hanging off the bed.

The location of this hotel was superb. It was clean and well maintained and the staff were excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the Vancouver downtown area if location and budget are the priority.

The smell in the hallway from cleaner or ? was too strong.
